With two individual power buttons it allows you to power down each drive when not in use to save energy and extend your drives lifespan. The DuoSwap also uses two standard SATA connectors for drive data and a single power to help prevent compatibility issues. Moreover, for additional drive security, designed an "eagle-hook" mechanism for MB971SP-B. It switches on immediately the 3.5" drive inserted and locks the 3.5" hard drive in place.
