Forcepoint NFGW 1100 Series appliances offer modular connectivity and no-compromise, full-featured security. The 1100 series combines key security and networking functions into one device: layer 2 intrusion detection, inline intrusion protection, layer 3 firewall with NAT, and IPsec VPN gateway, reducing footprint and simplifying management. It can be used in mixed clusters devices to deliver unrivaled high availability and scalable throughput.

Forcepoint NGFWs provide multiple layers of security. The built-in IPS incorporates anti-evasion defenses, accelerated encrypted traffic inspection, file scanning, exploit detection, mission-critical application proxies and more. Forcepoint's Advanced Malware Detection (sandboxing) and dynamic URL filtering are also available.

Forcepoint NGFWs are administered via the Forcepoint NGFW Security Management Center (SMC), offering both centralized appliance management and holistic security monitoring devices in a single management tool. The SMC's Smart Policies feature enables faster and more natural mappings of business processes into security controls than low level firewall rules and enables changes to be made throughout the network in minutes. Fully customizable, interactive visualizations give administrators continuous 360° visibility across all appliances in all locations, enabling incidents to be quickly identified and resolved.
